Before becoming unwell, Bethany had studied her masters in Criminology from the Queensland University of Technology and she was beginning to complete her Doctorate degree. After unfortunately falling unwell, Bethany ceased her studies and took up her other passion - art.

In the past year, Bethany has fallen in love with resin artwork. In the image depicted in this article, she tells Companions Brisbane that she couldn't find anything better to do with her time than by making art. During this period, Bethany has begun quite a collection of resin artwork and she tells us that she hopes she can start a small business painting and making various kinds of resin art.
